De Israëlische pianiste Yaara Tal (1955) en haar Duitse collega Andreas Groethuysen (1957) vormen sinds 1985 een succesvol pianoduo. Voor deze CD met werken van de Oostenrijkse componist Carl Czerny ontving het duo in 1992 de Deutsche Preis der Schallplattenkritik.
