Vroege opnamen van de Oostenrijkse pianist Alfred Brendel uit de jaren 1955-1975. De 35 CD-box werd uitgebracht in 2008, het jaar waarin de meesterpianist afscheid nam van het podium. De betiteling "solo-recordings" is misleidend, want de box bevat ook opnamen van concerten met orkestbegeleiding.
