""The songs of Iman Kandoussi" by Al Andaluz Project has secured the top spot on Limur, the Iberian Roots Music Chart for the 4th Quarter of 2024. The Al Andaluz Project was established in 2005 after members of the German ensemble Estampie attended a concert by the Spanish group Aman Aman during the Jewish Culture Days in Munich. The group aimed to revive the musical traditions of Jewish-Sephardic, Christian, and Arab-Andalusian cultures from Moorish Spain. Between 2006 and 2013, they released four studio albums and one live recording while performing extensively across European festivals and venues. Central to their music were the three vocalists, Sigrid Hausen (Germany), Mara Aranda (Spain), and Iman Kandoussi (Morocco), each representing one of the three cultural traditions. The thematic compilation "The Songs of Iman Kandoussi" highlights the band’s Arab-Andalusian repertoire, with a focus on the Moroccan singer’s contributions." (World Music Central)
