Julio Pereira ( Lisbon, Portugal, 1953 ), the extraordinary creator and player of the "cavaquinho", guitarra braguesa and the bandolin ( and string instruments in general ) and Kepa Junkera ( Bilbao, the Basque Country, 1965 ), considered one of the most brilliant and open composers and players of the Basque diatonic accordion ( "trikitixa" ) came together in July 1995 at these studio sessions to give birth to "Lau eskutara" ( With Four Hands ). Based on improvisation, heavy with creative and rithmic sensitivity ( with scarce use of percurssion instruments ) this work is exhuberantly sweet and passionate. "Lau eskutara" ( With Four Hands ) is the synthesis of a constant artistic effervescence presented by two great creative souls. (Booklet) Very pleasant Instrumental with uplifting melodies . Julio Pereira & Kepa Junkera though highly talented in their own right blend together colorful variations which move from storytelling to a joyful dance! (Amazon)
