The Tubicinatores gedanenses (trumpeters from Gdansk) and their “associated string players” (Arcus adiuncti) lead us directly into the intellectual heart of the Viennese imperial court with a program that splendidly depicts the grandeur that characterized Danube metropolis 300 years ago.
