"Once upon a time Josh 'The Reverend' Peyton was told by his doctor to find another occupation than playing the guitar. His aching fingers were stuck from playing the guitar so intensely, and there was nothing he could do about it. Seeking a second opinion changed his life, because not only was his hand cured, but he also met his future wife, Sister Breezy, at the clinic. The couple never looked back after that, and in addition to alternating drummers, Breezy became a permanent part of the Big Damn Band, on washboard and second voice. Josh skilfully rocks his guitar and sings and cries with imploring vibrato. Breezy's washboard doesn't really stand out, but she enthusiastically assists her husband with vocals. Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band shows that good blues is off the street and sometimes doesn't need much more than attitude and enthusiasm.
